What a Session Looks Like
You’ll arrive — in person in Beaconsfield Upper, or online — and we’ll spend the first 10–15 minutes talking. I want to understand where you’re at before we begin. Nothing happens without your consent.
We’ll move into the session itself using breath and guided imagery. You remain fully aware and in control throughout — you can speak, move, and end the session at any time. Most people describe the state as deeply relaxed but sharply focused.
Afterwards, we’ll ground you back, debrief what came up, and talk about what’s next. Sessions typically run 60–75 minutes.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I be hypnotised against my will? No. Hypnotherapy requires your cooperation and willingness. You cannot be made to do anything against your values.
What if I can’t be hypnotised? Most people can achieve a useful level of relaxation. The depth varies, but even lighter states are highly effective for therapeutic work.
How many sessions will I need? Most clients notice meaningful shifts within 3–5 sessions. Some resolve specific issues in one. We’ll map it out on your discovery call.
Is medical clearance required? As part of our duty of care, medical clearance may be required for certain conditions. We’ll discuss this before booking your first session.
